My computer does not take any Chinese. I have set up my computers so that they do not do any extra things I do not used normally.

One of my computers runs my personal light version of a Linux kernel on a floppy disk. Once this computer run the kernel, it CANNOT even recognize the floppy disk. This computer is used as a user node of my personal supercomputer.

My supercomputer system only uses English. Any extra languages installed on my computers will NOT optimize my supercomputer system.

Canada's largest city moves back into lockdown

Toronto is moving back into lockdown after grim projections show Canada is on the brink of being overwhelmed by Covid-19.

Canada's largest city will close most non-essential businesses and services, beginning Monday.

NOTE: Louisiana Department of Health: "Due to a processing error in the electronic lab reporting system, LDH will report a backlog of 2,538 COVID cases on 69,125 tests reported to the state. While this will result in a significant increase in reported COVID cases today, the Department will reallocate these backlogged lab results back to their specimen collection dates, which range from 9/12-11/18. Of the 2,538 total backlog, 1,038 COVID cases date back to Halloween (10/31)." Worldometer has redistributed the backlog.

周日起餐廳酒吧禁現場表演和跳舞 派對房間要關閉

【Now新聞台】政府刊憲，周日起禁止在餐飲處所及夜店進行現場表演，以及關閉派對房間。

政府表示，考慮到最新的公共衞生風險評估，特別是近期個案顯示涉及不戴口罩的活動帶來較高風險，宣布周日起，禁止在餐飲處所，包括酒吧或酒館、夜店或夜總會進行現場表演及跳舞；派對房間亦必須關閉，直至下周四。

今增43宗確診 13宗不明個案 跳舞群組再添21人染疫

本港新冠肺炎疫情急速反彈，衞生防護中心傳染病處主任張竹君表示，今日(21日)新增43宗確診個案，包括13宗本地源頭不明個案，23宗與之前確診者有關連個案，另外7宗為輸入個案，累計個案5561宗。張形容，現時已「無可置疑」地進入第4波疫情。

張竹君表示，21宗個案與跳舞群組有關，8宗為跳舞導師，大部分與灣仔駱克道「Starlight Dance Club」群組有關。

13宗不明個案方面，包括1名39歲男士，他居於黃大仙東頭邨富華樓，任地盤裝修工人；1名66歲男性，他是退休人士，居於大角咀大全樓；1名71歲女士，居於馬鞍山耀安邨耀平樓；1名居於火炭駿景的人士亦確診，他一名家人同樣染疫；1名45歲男子確診，居於旺角利民大廈；1名居於啟德嘉匯的64歲主婦；1人居於旺角花園街，其朋友亦中招。

個案還包括1名居於深水埗的63歲男子，其家人列初步個案；1名居於荃灣環宇海灣的62歲女子；1名居半山麥當勞道的77歲女子；1名居於太子柏樹街的52歲男子；1名確診者居於將軍澳日出康城；另有1名57歲女子染疫，居於天后金龍台。

輸入個案方面，2人為菲律賓外傭；2人為印尼外傭；1人自瑞典入境；1人自英國返港；另有1人潛伏期曾去過美國。

【截至午後6時】日本全國2560人感染確認，再創單日新高。總確診累計131627宗。

Columbia University bans 70 students for Covid-19 travel violations

(CNN)Columbia University says it has temporarily banned at least 70 students for violating the New York City school's Covid-19 travel policy.
The MBA students traveled to Turks and Caicos, according to Columbia University spokesman Christopher Cashman.

Starting Saturday night, California will join other states and nations in trying a partial overnight curfew as its latest desperate attempt to stem a surge in coronavirus cases, though experts said its effect may be more symbolic than real and many law enforcement agencies are refusing to enforce it.

Officials said what they are calling a limited stay-at-home order is aimed at discouraging late gatherings where people are more likely to let down their guard, their inhibitions — and their required masks — while drinking and socializing.

Dr. Mark Cullen, an infectious disease expert who recently retired from Stanford University, said the underlying goal is based on a reasonable interpretation of data blaming gatherings for surging infections. But the point will be lost on most, he fears, partially because California is allowing many exemptions for things like getting groceries, filling prescriptions, picking up takeout, and even walking dogs.

Officials in London who tried a similar approach found that “if anything, for the young people it may have increased their social gathering activities,” said Dr. Lee Riley, an infectious disease professor at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Public Health. “They can’t go out, so they congregate in somebody’s home or dormitories.”

Cuomo to receive International Emmy for COVID-19 briefings

And the International Emmy goes to: New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Cuomo, a Democrat whose daily briefings at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic received extensive airplay across the nation, will receive the International Emmy Founders Award.

The governor is being recognized in part for his use of television to inform people of the latest coronavirus updates at the height of the state's outbreak in March and April, according to The International Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences, which granted him the award.

Cuomo held more than 100 consecutive days of COVID-19 briefings, many of which were broadcast on cable news networks internationally. The governor will receive the International Emmy during a virtual award ceremony Monday. It's a separate ceremony from the better-known Primetime and Daytime Emmys, which focus on American television.

In Texas, a team of 36 National Guard personnel were sent to El Paso to help the city cope with the surge of Covid-19 deaths, the Texas Division of Emergency Management said Saturday, and El Paso has found a central location for an additional morgue, according to Mayor Dee Margo.
