（中央社記者陳至中、陳偉婷台北24日電）武漢肺炎抗病毒藥物瑞德西韋，傳出臨床試驗失敗。中央流行疫情指揮中心指揮官陳時中今天表示，在未揭露完整試驗結果前，都有點「瞎子摸象」，不解WHO為何要公開。

「金融時報」（Financial Times）今天引用世界衛生組織（WHO）意外發佈的草稿文件報導，美國生物製藥商吉立亞醫藥公司針對冠狀病毒的實驗性藥物在首次隨機臨床試驗失敗。

指揮中心今天下午召開記者會，專家諮詢小組召集人張上淳表示，目前看到媒體報導，WHO發佈的資料顯示，中國大陸初期臨床試驗效果不理想，試驗也提早結束，但這份報告是否完整，有待進一步檢視。

張上淳表示，目前瑞德西韋針對輕症、重症兩群患者，有更大規模的臨床試驗正在進行，台灣也有團隊參與，但因台灣確診個案數不多，目前很難用少數個案去下結論。

張上淳強調，臨床試驗結果不是用單一中心的資料去看，而是要全部累加在一起。資料處理過程中，沒有人可以隨便看到內容，一定要等到結果收集完整，進行最後資料分析、統計，才能確定瑞德西韋的效果，對那一種病人效果好、是否有副作用等。

陳時中表示，臨床試驗是「多國多中心」的合作，過程中各單位都有保密義務，涉及商業機密，因此在藥廠未揭露完整結果前，只單獨公開一部份的資訊，都有一點「瞎子摸象」。

陳時中也提到，WHO此時公佈瑞德西韋試驗訊息，讓大家一時也搞不清楚原因。就他所知，臨床試驗除非藥物有造成重大的傷害，才會即時揭露，其餘情況都不會在試驗過程中就公佈。（編輯：陳政偉）1090424

Singapore crosses 12,000 mark with 897 more cases
SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) reported a preliminary 897 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore as of Friday (24 April) noon, bringing the total to 12,075 – the highest recorded in Southeast Asia.

The vast majority of the new cases are foreign workers living in dorms, said the ministry, noting that 13 are Singaporeans and permanent residents.
