Please do not over-estimate the statistical approach you used.

1. The statistical approach has no skill. Here, the word "skill" is in the language of say, weather forecast. This is because the hidden assumption of the statistical approach assumes that there are no underlying changes. However, the current situation is still very new and a lot of factors are changing. For example, if you apply this approach to USA, you will draw the conclusion USA has passed the peak and begins to improve. On the other hand, you may know that Americans are talking about 3,000 death on 1 June which will be much worse than now and the past. The reason is that they use a model to calculate the effect of a major change, namely, the re-opening of the country. The statistical approach you used cannot take into account the changes in the future. A good model (such a GCM for weather and climate prediction) has skill and can be much better than any statistical approach.

2. Even within the statistical approach, your graph is NOT up to current standard. You might have heard about big data. The big data science is now millions miles ahead of the simple statistical approach you used. If you do this as a student project, then you can go ahead and spend a lot of effort to make a good project. Otherwise, it is not worth to spend too much time on your graphs. Informed people (including me) are not willing to spend much time to read your graphs.

針對無症狀感染者，張上淳稱，因為沒辦法知道患者在哪個時間點有病毒，只能說「確診時病毒量都蠻高的」，當時就認為無症狀是有傳染力的，隨著國外資料和研究證明，「無症狀有很大的機會會傳染給別人」；但他也提到，因為無症狀不會有咳嗽和打噴嚏等症狀，所以病毒量會是比較小的。

張上淳說，如果生病者跟健康者都沒戴口罩，確實很容易把呼吸道疾病傳到健康人身上，但健康的人有戴口罩，吸到飛沫就會大幅減少，也許可減少7至8成。生病的人若戴口罩，正面噴出去的飛沫也可能會減少8、9成。

以此估算，當兩方都有戴口罩，張上淳說，正面交談情況下，僅有1%至2%機會會傳染，但沒有明確科學數據佐證。不過，醫院人員經驗也發現，醫護都有戴外科口罩，就能減少傳染機會。
