Yes, CA is actually worsening. All the problem is in Los Angeles.
CA had lockdown earlier than New York and so it avoided the worst situation similar to NY. However, Los Angeles has been the main problem so CA wanted to test EVERY ONE in LA. This may be the reason for the high new daily cases.
