The "was being awarded" here is a PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE, PASSIVE VOICE.
但係我唔覺得佢咁係啱喎, 反而我覺得係︰"We are delighted to know that the photo was awarded"...award邊有continuous的意思架?

1）少啲笑人地啲英文
基本上我覺得non-native speaker even high level都冇資格judge人地嘅英文
你少啲笑人 人地就更有自信講 教學相長也
良性循環
2）我覺得亞洲人普遍少講，因為自己個語言好大唔同歐洲好多小國家要用mutual language去溝通
3）因應需求去學，假設你今日係做sales 咁基本上可以don’t give a shit to written english
4）識講重要過識寫好多，同埋現實日常生活溝通係冇人會在意你grammar(除非影響表達or mislead others)
5)colloquial english方面，english level就係以表達能力為單位，今日你表達到你想表達到嘅野就係好，至於level up就只不過係可以用更準嘅字/更短嘅句子去表達（通常為更少用嘅字）
例子有：redundant=unnecessary when it is more than it is needed
英文level冇咁好就可能只講到no need
好少少會講到unnecessary
