港大感染及傳染病中心總監何栢良表示，近日新增的輸入個案，患者在亞博館病檢測確診後就直接送到醫院治療，病人並沒有進入社區，如果本港持續沒有出現新的感染群組或沒有來歷不明的感染個案，認為中學文憑試在4月24日開考是合適的做法。
對於「10 + 4」的新檢疫安排，即部份密切接觸者先在檢疫中心進行10天檢疫，如果病毒檢測呈陰性，餘下4天可回家隔離，何栢良說，這並非最好的安排，認為政府應該增加檢疫中心設施，或安排有關人士在餘下4天到酒店隔離，但政府沒有積極研究安排酒店隔離，反映政府不作為。
對於新加坡昨日大幅新增233宗確診個案，而且全部是本地感染。何栢良說，新加坡的情況說明疫情可以在短時間內變化得很快，並出現社區大爆發。他說，新加坡現時的氣溫約30度，相等於香港的夏天，他認為本港市民不要再有任何幻想以為病毒到夏天就會熱死。
