perahia講嘅係咪你講嘅意思?
我彈bach都會踩pedal,但比較少。踩得少嘅原因係唔想blur the contrapuntal structure。踩嘅位置通常係啲chord (例如partita 2一開頭啲crotchet或者wtc book 1 b flat minor prelude呢類,唔想啲聲dry),或者係一啲好特殊嘅情況 (例如wtc book 1 a minor fugue最尾,因為要hold住粒A)。所以你見到我踩嘅原因絕對唔係因為想模仿overhang effect。
點解我會唔太同意「因為要模仿overhang effect,所以踩pedal」呢個講法?因為我覺得overhang effect只係適用於harpsichord (你見perahia嘅訪問入面佢都只係提harpsichord),但baroque其實有其他keyboard instruments(例如clavichord同organ)佢哋嘅聲音同發聲原理都完全唔同。而因為bach通常都冇講佢啲作品係作畀邊款keyboard instrument彈,所以如果為咗模仿overhang effect而踩,咁你其實已經判定呢首作品係作畀harpsichord,which may not be the case。所以,我嘅belief係踩pedal唔係為咗復古之類,而係根據我依家坐喺一部現代鋼琴面前嘅呢個處境,根據佢出嚟嘅聲用耳仔聽而去做一切踩/唔踩嘅決定
