I'm in my friend Keita's place in Fukuoka. Just got out of an onsen and am toweling off. The sun has been dazzlingly bright all week. If you're in japan I suggest that you have a good long soak in an outdoor onsen soaking up the sun. I'll be visiting the annual winter carnival next month. I enjoy riding the roller coasters and eating sushi in the carnival soaking up the nice christmassy atmosphere. Keita honours his parents and is thankful for what his parents have done for him. His brother is also a good don whereas his sister needs to be a good daughter. In the east parents and teachers stress the importance of filial piety which means chinese parental respect. They teach that you should honour your parents and take care of them. Recently his cousin stole his Gucci.watchband. It became a matter of honour to tell him about it. My brother felt honour bound to tell him too. His dad is a man of honour and high integrity. Both of us are kickboxing fans. In January Fred will be fighting chris for the heavyweight title for the honour of his country. Winning the championship is a matter of national honour, family honour and personal honour. Last week Fred's church held a banquet in honour of him. Keita asked if I would do him the honour of accompanying him to the banquet which I did. It was a signal honor to meet him. Fred said humbly "it's a great honour to have you here Keita." We asked if he would do us the honour of becoming our kickboxing coach. He said "I'll see" The waiters did the honours and greeted the guests at the door. After we sat down Fred asked a waitress "will you do the honours and cut us a piece of chicken?" Fred said to us "I would be honoured if you would come and see my fight in January" We gave him an affirmative response. Last year Dana said to him "I would be honoured if you attended the hall of fame ceremony." which he did. He was honoured for his performance in his last fight. Besides winning the championship he was honoured with an award for excellence in wrestling. By the way many people bought front row tickets for the next event at half price or less due to a computer error but the organisation stated that they would honour these tickets nevertheless which could cost a million dollars in lost earnings. For Tokyo a dazzling sun has been forecast for the whole month. In osaka there has been a long spell of dry hot weather whereas in Kyoto there's been a long spell of wet cold weather. In Hiroshima the weather forecast is for a hot and sunny day and a warm and breezy night tomorrow just right for swimming. In hong kong the weather forecast is for sunny spells and scattered rain showers the whole week. For Kagoshima heavy rain has been forecast for tomorrow whereas for Miyazaki a hailstorm and a heavy snowfall have been predicted. For Fukuoka a sunny and breezy day has been forecast just right for sailing while for Nagasaki heavy rainfall and scattered sleet showers have been predicted just right for skiing. In okinawa the weather forecast said it was going to be hot and sunny today. It also stated there would be dry sunny spells and scattered snow showers tomorrow. Of course snow showers and sleet showers are much better than thundery showers and wintry showers. In Fukuoka it was sleeting earlier but now it's snowing. Yesterday I forgot my umbrella and raincoat so I got caught in a hail shower on my way to the hotel and a rain shower while touring the tourist attractions there. I like Japanese culture and food. Last week I took the JLPT tests at N two level. My listening far outshines my speaking so the marks I lost in speaking were offset by those I gained in listening. My brother told took the test. He's a little weak at reading but strong in writing so the marks she gained in writing offset those she lost in the reading section. After the tests we spent money on clothes and shoes like it was going out of fashion. We entered a casino and gambled like it was going out of fashion.
