I live in a detached house. Bought that 34 years ago and recently a similar house on our street was sold for 800% of what I paid.
I have shuffle snow a few times during winter and cut the lawn a few times in the summer.
I have a 30 years old cherry tree in my backyard that will bring me over 50 pounds of cherries every summer. (will start picking today)
Downside - both of my neighbours are smokers and I hate smoking. I really don't mind people smoking as long as they don't EXHALE.
The current housing market has gone crazy. I hope it can cool down a bit so the younger generations can afford it.

想知住多倫多/溫哥華downtown嘅話，係生活方面，同香港會唔會差好遠？
Really difficult to compare with HK. The life style in Canada is very different from HK.
識有啲住過CA嘅fd講話放假想買個頹M/突然想飲珍珠奶茶都要揸半粒鐘車先有得買. Really exaggerated. Greater Toronto area has many clusters of Chinese restaurants, groceries and a variety of shops/stores that cater to Chinese.
