1v and 1vi (top to bottom)
5v, 1v and 1 vi (top to bottom)
In short
personally I don't really notice much difference in the resolution in person when comparing side by side. Might just be my eyes.
Also looking backwards the comparison photo I took above, some of the photo shows 1vi having the netting effect (not visible in person at all). Some photo show the v when shooting in middle seems to have clearer image which is not true mainly due to my camera focusing in mostly at center (I don't see the difference in person).
At least to my eyes. Take note I'm not putting my eyes until 2/3 cm in front of the display, at most 7 cm and above.
2) The display is definitely brighter on vi as per photo above (both setting manual 100percent)
3) The standard bravia tune colour on vi is definitely different tuning than the standard mode on v. Whether you like it or not, do see in person, my camera don't really capture actual details and colour accurately. The display in standard (bravia) mode just looks gorgeous in person
4) The stereo speaker not able to properly tested due to the environment is harsh. I can just say both are loud as fk.
5) Tele macro is super fun and result is really incredible just like online review. The manual focus with peak is also simple and fast. Really really impressive and fun.
6) Tele distant photo in shop, at least from my minimal 2/3 photo shooting comparison between vi and vi. I can't really say vi distant Tele improve a lot, it's almost similar or better minor aspect.
7) phone aspect ratio width, as opposed to the difference in width, vi is better than I expected in holding comfortability which I thought it would be way worse but surprisingly still good. However don't expect it to be so good like v since the width difference is still there, I mean comparing to other phone.
8) The display aspect ratio in watching movie and 16:9 content. If filling the whole screen then you will not notice too much of difference in viewing experience. If watching 21:9 without zooming to fill whole screen, vi will have even bezel around 4 side which surprisingly looks symmetry enough, so it not bother me. When watching in 16:9, the difference is quite big (refer the photo comparison). I'm 21:9 user but I don't mind switching taste to this new aspect ratio after seeing and comparing them in person.
9) new camera UI, I can't comment too much since I'm 10v user. But I do compare 10vi which use the new UI to my 10v. 10vi No pro mode like 1v in the new app. Zooming logic on new UI (10vi) is different than 10v. For 10v when tap and hold the 2x or other x button, you can directly drag to zoom in or out. But I'm new UI (10vi), when tapping and hold on 2x, it does not allow dragging, instead it opens up slider, you have to touch again to drag/zoom in out. I supposed this one have been the logic on previous pro app?
Switching fhd or FPS is drectly tapping on top of screen now instead of my current 10v which needs to tap into menu to change.
10) volume slider UI change a bit. Side sense added new notification small bar mode (I like this). Notifications panel on off buttons change to square showing double the buttons (like it and dislike it at same time: show more button but info detail in button will be scrolling automatically since it didn't have enough space to show all wording due to the small square)
