If I am having any children, I will try and make sure that the birth will happen in Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland, you still get NHS health care and the child will get Irish citizenship (with at lease a parent being a British Citizen). Irish citizenship is a useful thing to have as -

1) Irish citizens will continue to get freedom of movement in the EU after Brexit.

2) It is a lot easier to pass Irish citizenship down the generations.

Is ur hsbc in hong kong upgraded to advanced ? Or just normal accout? I m not sure whether there is a limit for each transaction but usd $8 is fixed for internet transfer.

Or choose between Ireland and Britain ?

Yes - the child born in Northern Ireland will get dual British / Irish citizenship in this case (one of the child's parent is a British Citizen).

You only need to give birth to the child in Northern Ireland in order to get Irish citizenship (as long as one of the parent is a British Citizen). I am not telling people to move to Northern Ireland for good - but only temporarily for childbirth.
