我以前喺香港，啱啱bachelor 畢業嗰陣都俾康宏見過工係咁說我，我嗰陣個bachelor 係art degree 嚟，最多可以做marketing..我心諗喺香港做financial services 咁鳩流流既

嗰啲保險9工唔好提...
真FI 嚟講overall 香港係多ibank, hedge fund, asset management, sales and trading, corp bank工嘅

呢啲serve institutions clients 嗰啲我覺得自己未夠班做..
我做下retail/wholesale clients 就okay..family office 之前都有人approach 我去。不過我諗諗下，可以遲啲多啲經驗可以去考慮下。我老細做過family office佢話好撚煩

Introduction course 教關於Australian financial market同有D咩participants.
講下有D咩 products - equity, bonds, options, futures etc.

This course will provide students with an introduction to Australian financial markets and an evaluation of the institutions, instruments and participants involved in the industry. The mainstream markets to be evaluated include the equity, money, bond, futures, options and exchange rate markets. The subject systematically reviews each of the mainstream financial markets and investigates the various institutional participants and the different types of financial instruments offered.

都幾 practical
可惜澳洲sell side 發展冇另外幾個financial hub 咁好

我覺得呀下..
澳洲investment market 好大程度上係dominated by major industry super funds, 或者係superannuation/pension funds in general 啦..而super fund 係有個mandate係long only,唔可以short. 所以澳洲做long/short fund既公司唔係好多。大部分既fund都係Long only. 就係咁

你係講 local market, as of ASX, Chi-X, ASX 24

定係 local market, as of 有咩industry player?

我意思係呢..retail client 又唔會玩Long/short 個D
或者derivatives (比較少)
咁玩得呢D多數都係institution clients. 而澳洲institiution client majority都係superannuation fund. 但super fund 有mandate係只可以long 不可以short.
咁變左Long/short managed fund 既demand唔係太多咪變左long/short fund既選擇都唔太多。

local market 我會refer to ASX囉
即係如果最大條水喉都唔玩得short咁你sell side可以玩D咩?

ic, 我咁問係因為澳洲係好多大hedge fund 同 prop trade firm 嘅APAC HQ
只係佢哋普遍喺local markets 冇exposure

我諗係個market structure 唔同
點講呢, 澳洲個investment market 仲係發展中,
未去到top 3咁勁。但佢有無Potential呢?係有既..同埋IPO係澳洲多數都係local 公司,唔會無啦啦有間外國公司走黎澳洲IPO架嘛..係都去US啦係咪先
但係依家都多左外國公司收購澳洲既公司, 例如Origin Energy呀
講開hedge funds, 我公司個model portfolio 都有用hedge funds
都有好strict 既rules講明唔可以多過幾多exposure咁樣, 好煩架
