It would appear that significant damage has been caused to your passport – the biopage containing your photograph and details has been removed from the passport which cannot be regarded as incidental or minor damage.

Before any new passport facility is afforded you a full written (and signed) explanation will be needed from yourself stating how the damage occurred. I must remind you that passports remain the property of Her Majesty’s Government and it is your responsibility to ensure the passport is kept in a safe and secure location at all times.

It should not be tampered with or passed to any unauthorised person. Any case of loss or destruction should be immediately reported to the local police and the nearest British Passport Issuing Authority. Only after exhaustive enquiries and further document/details can a replacement be issued in such circumstances”.

我聽過有人因為拎香港廁板而畀香港「特區」政府cancel左本bno，繼而誤以為係cancel左而剪走曬「多餘」部分，咁樣解釋比英國聽係咪一個合理講法？

大中華餘毒影響甚大，係續領的障礙，老一輩認為英國是外人，既然你不是英國人用甚麼英國護照 續黎做乜啊，幾十歲人仲去得邊
另外有一樣野我好好奇，就是續領BNO的人士的年齡層，以幾多歲為主

唔止老一輩，後生一輩唔識英文，見到英文慘過見鬼，要佢申請用英文，有唔少人寧願用廁板。我估續領年齡層最多係三十歲、四十歲，當時呢班人接受英式教育最深而比較少陣膠味同埋佢地係最有機會、能力離開香港。二十歲最後生一批比較少數，一來出生率低，人口少，大中華膠父母又無幫仔女攞護照，或者父母可能已經有其他國籍惠及子女傳承；二來後生一輩英文真係好差，大家有眼見正苦攪中中、母語教學攪到呢班後生啲英文程度慘不忍睹，社會環境無機會俾佢地練習英文，加上英治時代佢地仲係BB，佢地基本上對英國統治完全無情意結，感覺上完全陌生。
