Development Update - 17.11.2024
I’m sharing more stats with you: as of now, I’ve completed over 3,700 renders, most of which are already rendered and a few hundred still need to be made. Regarding animations, I’ve created 182 so far. However, I’m concerned about rendering time here. At the moment, there are 39 animations that I haven’t managed to render yet. According to estimations, rendering just the current queue will take a little over a week of continuous rendering. And since I’m still creating more, the queue keeps growing! 😊

Currently, I’m finishing a big lewd scene. I’m giving myself another 2-3 days to complete it. After that, I’ll move on to a much shorter lewd scene, so thankfully, there won’t be as many animations left for it. Finally, I’ll work on a small erotic scene and two normal, relatively short scenes—and then I’m done!

In the next development update, I plan to share the release dates for Patreon and Steam. As is often the case in game development, we plan for one thing, but reality often surprises us. Honestly, the number of scenes in this update turned out to be overwhelming, and I believe splitting it into parts was the right call. Otherwise, it would have been the biggest update so far, and you would’ve waited way too long for it.

Of course, many factors affect how long game development takes, and unfortunately, some things can’t be sped up. But I already have the next episode planned, and it will be significantly simpler to create. I can't promise, but I hope I’ll be able to deliver it to you faster than the previous ones.

I can’t wait to finally announce the release date and see you play the product that has taken so much of our time and dedication. I never imagined this project would grow to this scale, and I’m proud to share this journey with you and everything we’ve managed to create together.

"Corporate Development Memo 17th of November 2024"

Hi all!

I am essentially 95% done with all content which means a rough draft of written dialogue and renders.

My updated totals:

Main and Secret Sub Paths remain unchanged.

Dom Path 1,375 --> 1,517 (+142)

Sub Path 2,030 --> 2,060 (+30) (a last few cleanups and tweaks)

Total: 3,964 --> 4,136 renders (+172)

I am bit behind where I wanted to be, but still getting very close to having a rough draft of the entire update done soon. I am trying to get two more big dom path scenes done. Keep in mind I have a plan to add ONE more big closing scene on sub path (want some feedback on something from a few high tiers first) and likely ONE more dom path as well after the Test Version is edited/tested/released.

I don't anticipate a huge lag time between the Test Version being out and a more final version but I'd say at least a week is safe given I am going keep working on a few scenes as stated above the second the Test 8.2 is out.

I am keeping this one a bit short too because I want to get back to working on stuff. I'm really busy with business stuff too but managing to balance it all right now!

Hi everyone...

You know, all that time without my PC (first the CPU and motherboard failure, then my stupid monitor) made me think about things. We take so many little things for granted, don't we? There were days, like I mentioned before, when I felt too depressed to work. But now, after being forced to stop even when I wanted to work... it's made me realize we shouldn't waste the time we have when all our tools are working. You never know when things might go even more to shit, right?

I haven't really shared much about my creative process with you all... I don't know if it matters much, but...

When I'm working on updates, and when I'm focused on dialogue interactions... sometimes, the weirdest thing happens - new interactions just pop into my head! Then I find myself thinking, "Oh no, I don't have renders to show that..."

Before, I used to either avoid those new interactions entirely or simplify them to avoid extra rendering work. But this time? I'm doing the opposite! You can actually see these changes if you check the pinned post - there are updates both in the Excel sheet and in the notes below it.

Speaking of progress, let me break down where I am!
I'm currently working on Nanami's main route (which has 3 sub-routes). After that, we have:

Amber's route (short dialogue-wise)
Madison's route (moderate length)
Elizabeth's route (a bit longer, but much less subdivided than Nanami's)
Isabella's route (moderate, similar to Madison's)

And finally, there's a section for the main story. It's short, but it's slowly building up the main plot!

I'm trying to be more transparent about all this... I hope seeing the process helps you understand how these updates come together.

I'm still doing renders of the second day of the update, I didn't get much time to work this week, about 85 percent is ready.

Tomorrow morning I'm flying to another city on a business trip for two weeks.

I will be back on November 24th, so the next news will be only then, don't lose me.

Weekly update #163
Hey everyone, it's time for another weekly update! Back to the shorts ones for now

This week, I continued working on Episode 8 of Tune in to the show. Apart from the usual writing and rendering, I also started working on the first animations of this update. Next week, it'll be pretty much more of the same with the main focus being animations. Talking about those, I liked what I did with them in An Evening of Wonders, where the players could usually change the speed and the angle of the animations, so I'll do that in Tune in to the show as well. It adds some more rendering time, but I think it's worth it.

Last time, I talked about the idea of splitting Tune in to the show into 2 parts (after Episode 9 is released) on Steam to get more financial security. I'm not yet sure if Part 2 would be a different game or just a paid DLC, but the split will most likely happen since it seems like the best way of ensuring I can finish the game without having to create another one again. I'll keep you all updated.

How's our hero on Red Reef doing?
Does he have all the signatures needed to build a shining new mecha of sin and debauchery on the island? No? That's bad news for Naomi and our hero but good news for the game, as it means we've got plenty of story, intrigue, and thrills still to come!

In our next update, MC gets to take a well-deserved day off and spend more quality time with the women of the Reef.
Look forward to the chance to get closer to the girls of Lust Bound, but be prepared. Red Reef is an island overflowing with problems, and the closer you get to the women on the island, the more likely they are to enlist your help in solving their issues. Hope you're ready to pull up your sleeves and get stuck in!

Chapter 2 Teaser & Devlog
Heya everyone!

LopaPhi here. Here to give you a short teaser for what's to come in Chapter 2. I've mentioned on my previous devlog that I'm aiming to finish the chapter 100% before December. And well, as of writing this, I'm actually around 95% done. The script is finished and already coded into Ren'py. I just need to finish rendering the last couple of scenes, and it'll be completed.

That said, it still lacks a lot of things, like the sound effects, UI, Main Menu and bgm's. I'll be spending the entirety of the remaining time until release working on that, while GreenScheme will be out there editing and proofreading the entire thing. To give you an idea of how big Chapter 2 is, see below:

The game will be released before the year ends. Once finalized, I'll be sure to announce the date.
