Development 0.3 - #10
Hello everyone!
Got a new status report for you! Over the past two weeks, I haven’t had as much time to work on the game as I’d like, but that was expected due to the work course I mentioned in the last dev log.
Still, I managed to make some progress! I set up three new scene parts, which involved finding suitable maps, fixing things I didn’t like about them, implementing lighting, and making sure everything fits together. I also finished about ~100 renders! I’ll need to revisit those at some point to add background characters and other details to make the scenes feel more alive and natural, but that’s a task for future Pandy.
There’s still a lot to do, and while I’d love to wrap everything up by Christmas, setting deadlines hasn’t worked out too well for me in the past. My day job gets especially hectic at the end of the year - everyone suddenly remembers all the things they wanted to get done before year's over, looking forward to it, not.
On a fun note, I’ve made some adjustments to the MC’s appearance, and now he apparently looks like he could have taken out a dozen people. Personally, I don’t think so… well, maybe not completely. But since most of the renders are POV, you won’t see him too often. That said, certain scenes - like Amber’s changing room grab - require showing the MC, and I really enjoy those scenes actually. It makes showing hugs, kisses, and intimate interactions between characters much easier.
As always, feel free to share your feedback on anything you like or not like! Thank you so much for reading, enjoying, and even supporting my work, it truly means a lot to me! <3
Panda over and out.
PS: I planned to start this dev log by saying, 'I have a very short status report for you since I couldn’t invest much time into development.' So much for that...
