Enjoy a fresh start with a new character, a new evil has spread in sanctuary
Released new game mechanic - Hearts of the Malignant
Hearts will only be stored in your Consumables tab and can not be stored in your stash
limited to 100 crafting materials for new hearts
reserve the right to hot fix drop rates and nerf stat bonus on hearts if fun is detected 1 hour after launch of the season
Players are able to store too many items and not feeling the need to really pick their build and stick with it and if they want to try a new build make and level a new character
Resolved by removing 3 stash tabs and removing the aspect and consumables tab
All items are now stored in your general inventory
Added new enemy types to the game that are corrupted
Every single one of these enemies blow up 15x on death in a 360 degree circle as some players where able to dodge this effect
Balance changes:
Sorcerer
Removed 1 enhancement slot to foster build diversity, now you can't pick both ice shards & flame bolt.
Decreased damage output by 15% a crossed all skills
Increased damage taken from all sources by 100%
Disabled ability to select this class as we don't want anyone to play it anyway
Barbarian
Damage output at the end game was too much, decreased all damage output by 25% and capped to ensure you can never hit for more then 100k
Rogue
Reduced movement speed by 25% as you shouldn't be able to run faster then your horse
Necromancer
Removed bone spear as a skill from the game, we will evaluate this skill as it is not performing as we want and possibly reintroduce it in season 85
Druid
Tempest Roar was dropping to often, the drop rate has been changed to be the same as Harlequin Crest
Bug Fixes
Removed ability to use Mouse and Keyboard for PC players, you now have to use a gamepad the same as console players.
Disabled high resolution textures as they where causing us to spin up too many extra server resources, we are activity looking for a fix for this and expected to deploy it in season 54
