小弟u grad返左一年工想試下去英國搵份金融野嘅長工 (係香港都係返開金融)
除左果啲咩indeed.com之外有冇巴絲有路數可以指點迷津?
主要都係想搵London啦我諗London做finance應該算最正路?
係咪多數都要靠recruiter?

You will need to have your National Insurance Number to work in the UK. As an employee, most company will use PAYE to collect income tax and national insurance contribution on the government's behalf. The good news is that whatever the company pays you in wages will be your net wages - you do not need to save up to pay your income tax (as you do in Hong Kong).

Your own benefit and state old age pension entitlement is based on your National Insurance contribution records. Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA) have two elements - contribution based (you will get this element if you paid enough NI contribution in the last two years) and the means tested element (you can only get this if you meet the conditions set by the Department of Works and Pensions).

I got both. But Bno is expired and not sure if its enough time for me to renew it b4 they help me to work on tier2 (hr said 2 mths)....

You should renew your BN(O) passport now using the link below -

4) Get British Citizenship via registration using form B(OTA) which is an easier (the form is shorter) and cheaper method than naturalisation (registration £1163 vs naturalisation £1282 in 2017 prices)

You can open an UK bank account in Hong Kong before moving to London. Both HSBC and the Bank of East Asia offer this service.

You can also exchange your Hong Kong driving licence to an UK one without test if you received your Hong Kong driving licence via a driving test in Hong Kong.

Maybe I still apply for extending my bno n wait until the firm need the Visa n i give the sar if bno is not ready.

What do you mean by 'boring right'?

my bad I meant voting right**
my swipe keyboard trips me all the time.

But im afraid if the BN(o) process is delayed, the whole process for background check and offer stage are delayed...
Maybe I still apply for extending my bno n wait until the firm need the Visa n i give the sar if bno is not ready.
