オリジナルと「1000%異なる」作品に？
「ストレンジャー・シングス 未知の世界」（2016−）のシーズン4が記録的ヒットを飛ばす中、かねてから噂されていた実写版スピンオフが動いていることが判明した。米Deadlineが報じている。

クリエイターのダファー兄弟は、同シリーズでおなじみ‟裏側の世界（Upside Down）”を冠した会社Upside Down Picturesを設立し、複数の新たなNetflixプロジェクトに取り組むという。その内の一つである「ストレンジャー・シングス」スピンオフ・シリーズは、ダファー兄弟のオリジナルアイディアを基に、Upside Down Picturesと21 Lapsがプロデュースを担当する。
