The Mirror report Juve feel they can lure Gabriel away from Arsenal as the Italian giants can offer Champions League football while the Gunners will be in the Europa League next term.
The report adds that Juve have been long-term admirers of Gabriel, something which Arsenal are aware of, and the Premier League side will look to offer the Brazilian a new contract.
Gabriel, 24, joined Arsenal from Lille in 2020 and has been a regular starter under manager Mikel Arteta over the past two seasons.
In 2020-21, he made 32 appearances in all competitions as Arsenal finished eighth while he helped the club up to fifth this campaign, playing 38 games in total.
Atalanta have not changed their plan for Merih Demiral: the intention is to trigger buy option for around €23m from Juventus. ⏳🇹🇷 #transfers

Arsenal were really close to getting Dejan Kulusevski, but they couldn’t agree a deal with Juventus. Then Paratici came in and struck a deal. @JackPittBrooke
