Knox, who probably just needs a new environment to fully blossom into his full potential, is said to be garnering interest from other teams, per sources of Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Sources said teams are inquiring about Knicks forward Kevin Knox, who has played in just four games this season and has rival executives wondering the plan for the 22-year-old in New York. Knox scored 18 points, grabbed five rebounds and made five 3-pointers in 29 minutes agains the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday — his first extended run of the season. He was the Knicks’ No. 9 overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. After averaging 12.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 75 games (57 starts) as a rookie, Knox has failed to gain traction in the organization, but could something change?

Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons trade rumors should heat up once again after Shams Charania of The Athletic name-dropped the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks as among the teams showing interest in acquiring the embattled guard-forward from the Sixers.

The 76ers are ramping up their efforts to spark multi-team trade scenarios to move Simmons, sources said, and a fresh pool of teams has emerged as potential destinations.

The New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers are among the teams interested in Simmons, sources said, although it’s unclear how much traction Philadelphia truly has on any move.

Pistons forward Jerami Grant is expected to be one of the most sought-after players on the trade market this season, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, who hears from sources that Detroit is open to a possible deal.

The Boston Celtics are expected to be open to trade talks involving Dennis Schroder.
The Celtics signed Schroder to a one-year, $5.9 million deal and are unlikely to be able to afford to keep him next offseason.
Schroder is averaging 17.5 points, 4.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game for Boston.
