Role 1 - Home Based PLC / SCADA Systems Engineer - £35-45k + overtime + annual bonus
Key aspects of the position include;
Strong background in automation and SCADA products, particularly: Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens TIA Portal / WinCC
Knowledge of Cimplicity or FactoryTalkView SCADA
Worked on control systems for high-speed manufacturing
Projects could be delivered across a range of sectors including FMCG, pharmaceutical, food & beverage.
The successful PLC / SCADA Systems Engineer will be involved in the delivery of Automation and MES / SCADA solutions for multiple clients across a range of industries and will need good client facing skills.
Role 2 - Senior Systems Engineer – Home Based – OT / MES / IoT- £40-55k + bonus / flexitime set up
Key aspects of the Systems Engineer position include;
Knowledge of MES, OT, IoT, OEE, IT systems integration
Full system architecture knowledge/experience – previous experience of working as a Solutions Architect would be helpful
Working knowledge of Enterprise SCADAs and real time historian solutions – Siemens, GE, Rockwell FactorytalkView, Wonderware would be helpful, along with an understanding of the connectivity requirements to PLCs such as Rockwell and Siemens.
Have worked in a manufacturing environment before, ideally for a systems integrator
Projects could be delivered across a range of sectors including FMCG, pharmaceutical, food & beverage.
Experience in delivery of Automation and MES / SCADA solutions for multiple clients across a range of industries is expected for the higher salary level System Engineers as well as demonstrable client facing skills with the ability to work with clients in challenging environments whilst maintaining a strong financial position.

Role 3 - Controls Engineer – Siemens TIA Portal - Derbyshire – Permanent Position – Flexible Working Hours – £40-45k + bonus + overtime when working on site
The company achieved strong results last year, increasing turnover, profit and headcount during 2020. With a full order book already lined up for the first half of 2021 they are planning and preparing for an even bigger year this year.
Controls Engineers applying for the position are likely to have some of the following;
PLC software writing capability i.e. write full programs from scratch using TIA Portal / Classic S7
Designed systems for bulk / material handling, conveyors, automated warehouse solutions
Ability to create a technical specification
A logical approach to developing automation software
Practical electrical / electronic knowledge

Role 4 - Control System Engineer - Permanent – Staffordshire – £45-55k + Discretionary Bonus / 90% Office Based
We are looking for an experienced Control System Engineer who has a demonstrable track record of programming and commissioning PLCs using structured text and ladder logic using Siemens TIA Portal, ideally from a special purpose machinery background.
Key aspects of the Control System Engineer position include –
PLC, HMI and Variable Speed Drive knowledge - TIA Portal (S7 1200/Comfort/G120)
Write PLC and HMI code from scratch for manual & automatic machines
Control Networks: ProfiNET, RS-485, RS-232, IO-Link
Write PLC and HMI code object-oriented, documented, and easy to maintain.
Familiar with the IEC 61131-3
18th Edition or equivalent
Role 5 - Control System Engineers x 2 – Special Purpose Machinery – Servo/Motion Control – Permanent – £Salary DOE + overtime + 25 days holiday + 5% matched pension contribution

The successful Control System Engineers, depending on the level of experience, will deal with all aspects of machine manufacturing from design, R & D, software, commissioning, procurement, sub-contractors, service support and technical documentation from an electrical and software perspective.
Key areas of responsibility and attributes include;
Produce, modify and maintain software programmes (PLC and/or MLC)
Produce and check electrical drawings
Power up and commission machinery, onsite, globally post COVID (estimate of 1 week on site every 2 months once fully up to speed)
Carry out any necessary drawing or wiring modifications when required
Knowledge of drive systems and servo control would be useful
