你所講架主權換治權就係我講架出古惑 ，不過我記得當時中共一口拒絕
不過我真係有印象果時有講過話會比香港人自決架喎，不過當時大部份人無理咁解(唔好意思，果時我得幾歲，所以有可能完全理解錯都唔定)

其實短期內只要有子女繼承權BNO既價值已經大好多
如果仔女都可以有BNO 好肯定好多人即刻續
就算無居英權 父母為左仔女 個少少錢一定肯洗
咁BNO已經係一個有生命力既族群 唔再係拖延就可以解決得到既問題
而且只要有繼承權 你既後人就有時間爭取埋居英權 變左持久戰 始終可以有一日成功
相反依家BNO既族群係等死既一群 只會一日比一日少人

Under British nationality law, you can only pass on your British nationality to the next generation born outside of the UK and her Overseas Territories. By making BN(O) open to those born after 1997 will increase the numbers in the short term, but at the end, the numbers will go down.

Under current circumstances, I find it hard to see BN(O) passport holders will get the right of abode in UK in the medium term.

Under section 4(2) of the Hong Kong (British Nationality) Order 1986, it stated that -

Any person who is a British Dependent Territories citizen by virtue (wholly or partly) of his having a connection with Hong Kong and who, but for his having a connection with Hong Kong, would not be such a citizen shall be entitled, before 1st July 1997 (or before the end of 1997 if born in that year before that date), to be registered as a British National (Overseas) and to hold or be included in a passport appropriate to that status.

如果BNO一日未有居英權 咁本來就同BC唔一樣既怪物 - there are a number of 怪物 in the British Nationalty Act 1981 - for example British Protected Persons and British Subjects (Please note that these status also don't have the right of abode in the UK). All British nationalities (British Citizenship included) are governed mainly from the British Nationality Act 1981.
