You have to report rental income from HK property. You can deduct expenses such as mortgage interest (interest portion only) all other direct cost related to upkeep of the property including condo fees, property taxes. Keep a list of all the expenses to clean up/renovate the property. You can deduct most of it against your rental income.
You should have an appraised value on the first day you came to Canada and any expenses from that day.
