0. 做好曬功課先好黎,啲稅務、資產、paperwork 處理曬,預返好個budget(YouTuber 2020 講嘅budget 今年就預返2倍,預算就要起碼頂到12 個月唔做嘢都交租生存到,真係要prepare for the worst)
1. 要黎就3 月後黎,冬天黎再加短時間內搵唔到工好大機會depression (退休就無所謂)
2. 樓唔洗隔山租,我自己都係睇左20 幾間先搵到個似樣嘅,落地兩個星期後租到,當然樓就一定有,睇下你揀唔揀擇,你又要校網好交通好治安好價錢好就真係要耐啲
3. 試下係香港搵返份remote 嘅工,做幾個月,租屋就可以話自己有income,status 係employed。咁樣就有機會唔洗比成年租
3. 搵工就跟返英式cv cover letter (office 工就唔好齋send CV)。香港鳩send 都搵倒工,英國就要比啲誠意…
我cv send 左90 份,頭幾份fg 唔識世界,cv 得一版(雖然如果係consultancy 真係一版),無cover letter,當然就無回音
之後就開始跟返template 寫,不過都未放cover letter,提提大家,好多公司都用software scan cv ,你都可以自己scan 下,我開頭scan 個結果係話我唔係英國…
寫cv 就係依啲
Step 1: 望住個job responsibility
Step 2: identify key skills
Step 3: 執返對應嘅**achievement** (HR 個mindset 係你有幾多evidence 去support 啲skills,齋寫responsibility 就姐係無evidence)
Step 4: 排版,keywords 放先,bold 左佢,HR 其實係10 秒內睇一份cv, 你啲keywords 唔顯眼就係咁先
咁當然每份工其實黎黎去去都係果啲,所以我都有幾個template 比唔同嘅工種
例子
如果係fg 就真係要寫多啲transferrable skills, 正正係因為transferable, 即使幾唔關事都可以寫到好關事, problem solving, team building, project management, attention to detail, communication 其實咩field 都需要
4. 頭30 份cv 無cover letter,個結果都幾明顯,admin 多數有interview,高要求果啲就無
之後果啲就有擺埋cover letter
當然就無人地咁chur, 有啲英國人係會突登去networking 攞contact,跟住就話”I have met xyz, director of the company and blablabla” 認真我就真係無咁chur
我只係template 改下名,用companies house search 下地址,google 下間公司再copy and paste,當然寫地址就可以順便搵埋commuting time,其實份cover letter 都係hea 寫,份份工都用template 唔夠specific
當然可以睇下人地寫成點
5. Interview 最好作定啲STAR 故事,黎黎去去都係果啲,6-7 個故事都夠用,其實英國人都幾鍾意聽故事,所以可以加啲笑點,等人地可以開心啲
真係唔知發生咩事嘅,就prep 定先
6. 見倒offer 唔好太心急accept (有啲工係為左練習interview,有啲工就真係鍾意嘅,所以唔好弄假成真), 真係有啲公司係大伏,通常催你即刻accept 即刻返,Google map reviews 過低, glassdoor indeed 評分麻麻都係有啲問題,大家真係要小心小心,所以budget 帶夠,就唔會被逼接受依啲
