發現自己寫英文好累贅，可以點改善？

the element of style 係有用，不過比較“結構性”一d ，我隱隱覺得樓主需要嘅其實係識多d地道一點嘅英語表達方式
例如一d簡單嘅意思，都唔可以完全從中文 “直譯” 成英文
" 如果我無記錯" 英文可以話 if my memory does not fail me / serve me right

只看政府d文章， 容易忽略一d你平時日常生活會見到嘅實物，名詞同動詞

或者你可以寫一篇中文，自己翻譯成英文，改到d英文好為止

1. 諗清楚自己想講咩先，subject verb object
垃圾中學教師會教你用passive voice. 出尼做野business communications 用多d active voice.
2. Pronoun 可以唔用既就唔好用
3. 試下搵字既synonyms, 有時寫好多字因為詞不達意，用字精準可以skip好多phrases
4. 好多noun 都有verb 可以代替 （e. g. Suffice, allocate)

其實調轉諗，我覺得你係太貪心想一句嘢表達/交代太多嘢。with the advance of technology 感覺係呀媽係女人嘅陳述，個腔調好似以前公開試操writing 咁。好多香港學生嘅寫作style係考試style，反而好少有啲story writing之類比較casual嘅嘢。如果唔想寫嘢咁官腔咁chum不如睇吓啲輕鬆啲嘅生活雜誌，擺脫文皺皺嘅mindset

american english is more efficient but less likely as precise as british in terms of conversations and how they form their meanings. Learn the mindset instead of the language. If you know what i’m talking about i want no debates. don’t care about grammar too much, it is something basically easier if you pick up instead of trying on sth. enjoy it would be easier. i dunno
