You are a PR and not Citizen?
My understanding is that only a Canadian citizen can declare/claim non-resident for tax purposes.
I could be wrong, but you are the first permanent resident (not a citizen yet) that claim to be a non resident. Are you sure your PR status is not jeopardized?
Does your PR means citizenship by any chance?
obtain the Fair Market Value of those shares on the day you landed in Canada. That will become your Adjusted cost base when you dispose the shares after you landed. You will have to report you own those shares and whatever you have to report on T1135 (property /assets you have outside Canada)
CRA will welcome you.
You must report world-wide income after you landed.

How should profit in crypto trading be reported with it was conducted on DEX or when tokens are held in cold wallet? Does it mean that it will be taxable when it was transferred to the exchange? Or only when it’s converted into fiat?

有加籍都可以係non-resident- true
But landed immigrant by definition is a tax resident. Am I correct?
