Bayern Munich to turn attention to Chelsea star Willian amid Alexis Sanchez frustration

Bayern Munich will turn their attention to Chelsea forward Willian amid doubts they can afford to bring Alexis Sanchez to the Allianz Arena, according to reports.
The German champions have made Sanchez their top target this summer, however the wage demands of the Arsenal star are considered too extreme. He reportedly wants to double his current salary of around £150,000-a-week.

It means Bayern Munich must look elsewhere in their desperate need for reinforcements and it seems Willian could become their focus.
Germany newspaper Abendzeitung report that Willian is a suitable alternative for Germany’s biggest club and there are hopes he could be tempted away from Stamford Bridge.

The Brazilian has regularly had to play back-up to Pedro this season, despite being named Chelsea’s player of the year last season and impressing whenever on the pitch this term. He made 34 Premier League appearances but only 15 were from the start.
He was snubbed by Antonio Conte for the FA Cup final despite his brilliant semi-final performance helping them reach the season finale at Wembley in the first place. He came on for Diego Costa with just 14 minutes to go.

The offer of more time on the pitch could tempt Willian, who is also understood to be of interest to Manchester United, to leave Chelsea this summer.
