Support: Design, resource, monitor, and execute within the Company’s desktop and remote support machinery, ensuring that it achieves rapid and high-quality resolution, constantly improves based on metric-driven reporting, and supports all stages of the employee lifecycle, including on-boarding, intra-office moves, inter-office travel and relocation, and off-boarding.
Purchasing and online services management: Appropriately scope areas requiring external products and services; prepare RFPs where relevant; manage tender processes and benchmarking, ensure value and cost-efficiency in all vendor relationships; manage smooth implementation of new products and services; develop and maintain a global asset register of hardware, software, and IT service contracts; monitor products, services, and contracts versus SLAs and agreed T&Cs.
Team: On-board, integrate, train, develop, and manage a team of support personnel
Infrastructure: Design and execute IT infrastructure roadmap for the firm, creating an integrated, reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective set of systems that meet business needs; issue debriefs after all major outages, and implement corrective and preventative measures accordingly; oversee detailed design and build of IT components of real estate projects, and ensure seamless relocation.
Work closely with the Software Engineering team to ensure synergy and synchronisation in areas of mutual importance, including support and new product rollouts
Training: Design and implement training programmes for the wider firm to drive productivity and efficiency; design and implement training programmes to develop support personnel
Global alignment: working as an integral part of the global Technical Operations team to ensure global alignment of systems and processes, and to drive global projects
Requirements:
4+ years of relevant experience in similar roles (Apple Genius, Help desk, etc)
Excellent understanding of computer hardware, networking, OS X and G Suite
Evidenced problem-solving skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity
Thrives in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s Degree
