The International Baccalaureate or I-B has released results for its May diploma exams, with
at least 29 Hong Kong students achieving the highest possible score.
IB issued the results to the schools on Friday night, and students were able to access their individual results on Saturday.
Among the local top-scorers, 17 students from the English Schools Foundation’s seven schools achieved a perfect score of 45.
There are also four top-scoring students from Diocesan Boys' School and two from Victoria Shanghai Academy and Singapore International School.
One top performer each hails from St. Paul's Co-educational College, St Stephen's College, Po Leung Kuk Choi Kai Yau School and Yew Chung International School.
23 local students attained the top grade in the 2023 exam.
