Today is a sad day for our Hong Kong Veterans Family.
I received word that the last Remaining Canadian that Served in Hong Kong has passed away.
With that a part of Canadian history has died.

Sorry to inform you that we lost our last HK veteran this morning - see the message below. Please keep his family in your prayers.
And we that are left go old with the years, Remembering the heartache, the pain and the tears,
Hoping and praying that never again, Man would sink to such sorrow and shame,
The price that was paid, we will always remember, every day, every month and not just in November.
We will remember them.

It is with sadness to report that Mr Hormidas Fredette has passed away this morning.
Just finished talking to his son Brian,
Not sure what the arrangements will be but I will try my best to make it there.
