What is a T1 General Income Tax and Benefit Return?
The T1 General Income Tax and Benefit Return is the tax return used by individuals to calculate their annual tax liability and get federal or provincial benefits such as the GST/HST Credit. It summarizes the taxpayer's income, deductions and tax payable as computed on supporting forms and schedules and calculates the taxpayer's refund or balance due. There are five parts to your T1 form including identification, total income, net income, taxable income and a refund or balance owing. Your T1 form and any balances owing for each year are due by April 30 of the following year or June 15 for self-employed individuals or common-law partners. If these deadlines fall on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, then they are extended to the next business day.

加拿大係自由國家。 去留都係無所謂。九七前有好多HK移民，攞咗加藉就掉低老婆仔女做太空人或者兩公婆一齊走留低仔女俾親戚睇。當然好多都逃稅。
加拿大好多人都不滿意依啲無打算留係加拿大既移民。所以當三年前我哋要求政府幫HK年青人時， 有人提出過往有好多攞咗公民就閃既往事嚟提出反對。正如我所講， 政府無迫你嚟，亦唔會勉強要你留低。不過政府有移民政策同預期。如果某地方既移民有一定份量會回流既，咁係咪會考慮減少嗰度既移民配額呢？如果你無決心留低既，咁你係咪嘥咗個名額呢？
