Hey OP did you ever solve this? I'm finding the same thing.
EDIT: Actually I think I found the answer. When you get to that 'REGISTER' page you have to go to the drop down menu in the Top Right corner and select UNIted States as the country. This reloads the page under a different domain starting with us-computershare.
