We cant form our own army like IRA but we still can fight against the authoritarian government and the police force in a peaceful way. I know Irish must have empathy for Hongkongers due to the History. Please spread the news and what is happening in Hong Kong to your friends and families. It avoid some asshole to spread fake news or unreal message in this forum. (Although there is still lots of fake news here.) Also, the owner of LIHKG shows his support to HK people and will listen to the forum members.

Because members in LIHKG share a similar political view, which is pro democracy, and anti CPC. This form a very strong and consistent ideology. This is a tradition since we were in HKG.

Also, the account is hard to get, the goverment is unlikely to mobilize great amount of netizens to take effect in our forum.

Moreover, one of the features of this fourm is action oriented. We are willing to take action in the real life, and make something happens.

The above reasons provide a distinctive foundation for social movement, also it shares the features of common online fourms, which multiply the power. All members in the forum are equal and anonymous（we greatly appericiate the fourm holder tried his best to achieve this）. We can freely voice out our opinion toward the movement, regardless our age, social status, and other personal factors. If the opinion is good, people will take it serious and join in. Thus, we join the movement, we lead the movement, and we own the movement. We have deep connection with the movement, as well as toward other members. Hong Kong faces the largest protest in its record opposing the passing of the extradition bill. This protest has been escalated to a wide-supported large scale protest against the government due to the mistrust of Hong Kong people to the Chinese government and its puppet, the Hong Kong government.

LIHKG is a forum that is rare in allowing the voices of the the youth to speak their opinions anonymously, and it is effectively the place for the young protesters to organize the anti-government activities. We welcome all people from any race that has different ideology and voices to speak here, and we are happy to answer any of your questions.

Regarding your first question. LIHKG has many members are young people before the incident. They are the important stakeholders in this protest event. Young Hong Konger share same generation,same view and same belief. So this forum can bring one of the biggest impact on the society.
