雖說粉絲們都幫她取了「玟星」或「文星伊」的中文名，但MOONBYUL其實是純韓文名字哦！「별（BYUL）」在韓文是星星的意思，也有著閃爍的含義哦~ 玟星曾透露自己出生當天，爸爸正苦惱著要替女兒取名，望著天空發現有好多閃爍著的星星，就決定為她取名「문별이」啦~ 是說，文爸爸很厲害耶，所以玟星在舞臺上絕對是閃亮的一顆星！
