超強颱風蘇拉來勢洶洶，MET WARN準備了以下防禦措施列表：
1️⃣ 關緊並鎖實所有門窗。在玻璃窗貼上膠紙可減少玻璃爆破帶來傷害。
2️⃣ 遠離窗戶。提早選擇家中一個安全位置，以便玻璃爆破時可繼續逗留。玻璃爆破時切忌即時善後。
3️⃣ 颱風吹襲期間冷氣有機會被吹壞甚至被吹進室內，應多加留意。
4️⃣ 準備數個「尿袋」（行動電源）及電筒，以防電力短暫或較長時間中斷。
市民最遲應在黃昏前完成所有防禦措施。
With Super Typhoon Saola edging closer to Hong Kong, MET WARN has prepared the following checklist on precautionary measures:
1️⃣ Close and lock all windows and doors. Fixing adhesive tapes to window panes can reduce injuries from broken glass.
2️⃣ Stay away from windows. Choose a safe spot at home so that you can continue to be sheltered when windows are broken. Do not immediately fix broken windows.
3️⃣ Air conditioners may be broken or even be blown indoors during the passage of the typhoon. Please stay alert.
4️⃣ Prepare several portable chargers and torches in case there is an power outage.
Members of the public are advised to finish all preparations by dusk.
