首先 SPIC
其實你放係持牌大行都幾難有機會用到。
因為證券係放係IB 嘅 custodians。IB執咗，D貨都係你個名。有無留意IB有個feature 係問你借貨出去比其他人估，你就可以分到微少嘅錢，（我自己就無join），所以IB要用你D貨，其實係要你consent，你買咗嘅貨同IB 已經無咩關係。除非證商非法拎咗你D貨去抵押，玩爆咗，咁先會用到SPIC。如果IB 爆咗，又無涉及非法挪用，咁SPIC都唔使用，你D股票都會安排轉去另一間劵商
跟住FDIC $250,000
Cash 其實同IB都無關係， cash 放係IB所使用嘅銀行，IB無權access你D cash. 要擔心嘅應該係IB 用個間銀行爆，呢個情況你就要搵FDIC。咁本質上同你放cash 入銀行一模一樣樣。
不過自從SVB爆咗之後，IB 開放 sweep cash account 比多咗人用，之前好似要有好多 cash先會開，但係上個月就無端端開咗比我。sweep cash account 原理就係自動將你D cash 分成好多個 $250k 放入IB 用嘅銀行 （最多10間，仲可以自己exclude 某D銀行），Maximize 個FDIC 由$250k 去到 $2,500k。簡單D講，sweep cash account 已經幫你將雞蛋放係10個籃到。
結論係分分鐘安全過你放响銀行。因為IB背後都係放係銀行，仲要放好多間。
