要記得今年2月25日先有一個科大學生跳樓，過咗不足3個月又有呢啲慘劇發生

Dear students and colleagues,



We are all shocked and saddened by the loss of one of our students yesterday. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family who has lost their beloved one. The University is offering necessary support and assistance to the family, and we ask everyone in the HKUST community to support each other at this difficult time.



We want to reiterate our call to every student to put your well-being as top priority – you are valuable, and your well-being is of paramount importance to us. For members of the HKUST community who are going through difficult times, you are strongly encouraged to reach out to us for available support services both within the university and in the wider community.

各位sem尾頂住

讀書不是唯一的出路。小妹認為校方真的要審視為甚麼會一而再再而三地發生這些慘案。

Grade deflation但校內外各種事務的gpa要求（實習、獎學金、exchange）卻跟外界看齊
這是我校不願正面解決的問題

我在報master的時候切身的感受到這個問題，當然科技大學是絕對不會出錯的，請大家trust the process

之前嗰個係因為同同性男友有感情問題先自殺，又唔可以一概而論

雖然唔知呢位同學係咩原因睇唔開 但如果係學業問題既話就唔抵
搵工果陣就會發現根本上grade或者果D難既course 出面根本用唔著 反而自己自學d practical既skill仲有用 真係唔好因為grade而比自己咁大壓力

睇到新聞想同大家打打氣
最緊要係俾自己放鬆下 當年都係靠聽kpop jpop頂住
唔得可以休學一個sem 做下其他野唔好屈係科大入面
入面係當年聽既打氣歌

有圖有真相

以前科大真係無人性，每一科都至少派40% C range

你就算幾努力溫書，通宵係圖書館操past paper都無用，一below mean 就收皮玩完

其實點解近幾年ibank收多左美國本科，甚至係中大同港大嘅學生，係因為人地grade inflation，好容易就爆3.7，可以輕鬆過到CV screening，而科大學生就因為無謂嘅grade deflation搞到連interview 嘅機會都無。

再講，Goldman Sachs 同Morgan Stanley個啲大行嘅requirement 係3.7/4.0。科大GPA滿分係4.3，如果convert做4.0 scale，其實係再打個9折，更加搞唔掂。
