stat 行頭真係好窄
之前做政府 stat assistant
諗住做夠兩年考 so
不過宜家已經轉左做紀律部隊

主要睇你有無興趣 初初入行都可以靠啲vba, sas skills 去做下reporting, 所以想入行就學多幾個skills 長遠要做得好就要有initiatives

programming底差真係唔好讀stat, 完全係晒氣

唔知巴打講既入行係邊行？
因為:
Credit risk 要識睇accounting 野.. financial statement those.. better have CPA.
BI--> are you referring to big data?
market research ---> better be quant research

for the latter 2, 應該係一入去就要run a lot of regression instead of reporting

reporting should be the junior role when you go to risk management.
而因為咁..搵個STAT 底係會比搵個RM底好...

我都係 ugrad , 之前做左一年多 d

根本stat屌打所有科
只要minor多個科就無敵

咁又唔係, 佢比maths, engineering 少D 數理練習..

講真, engineering 係一個唔錯既training..
以EE為例子,
both train your coding skills, maths skillset and stat knowledge.
只要改善下語文，係唔錯的fundamental.

睇你想唔想做返stat果邊...

FI 既話, fg 可以入 insurance, bank 做junior officer先, 儲下exp... (但千祈唔好無做IT Dept, 做左IT後想做返analyst 既機會係0)... 另一個industry 係research firm, Nxlson, XCLP, etc.

依家好多startup, media / marketing 都請緊stat 人... big data ma... 不過唔好諗可以bulid 好多models... 好多model build 完都係講緊"你呀媽係女人"之類... (其實我覺得big data 係攞黎呃funding)


讀stat 最緊要唔係識計數, 而係用粒數做野同點interpret 粒數...

(利申, 非三大, ug stat讀左二年SAS, master 轉左讀km )

我啱啱倒轉... stat底差, programming ok, 但interpretation強...

how to interpret the numbers, understand the numbers... 就係依家D 小朋友最唔識既野 (可能佢地覺得冇用啦)

好多都只係識9RUN reports, 9做Regression....

漏左講係入行做retail credit，好多FI 都係比新人做下MIS 開始

Retail 唔熟, 但retail客多, 應該都係SAS and SAS.

btw, 有得揀, 唔好入retail banking

theory係最無用
d model都係人地dup好晒比你用
sense同problem solving最緊要 當然仲有communication

入到行就係 大把人入唔到行
