An EEA national is automatically entitled to live permanently in the UK once they
have lived here continuously for a period of 5 years

As long as you are exercising your EEA treaty rights, you are entitle to get UK permanent residence after 5 years.

Being a Luxembourger will make no difference. As long as you are an EEA citizen, you will be treaty the same way in another EEA country. So it does not matter whether you are Polish or Portuguese, you will be treated the same in terms of immigration in the UK.
