I just tried to buy 1 ticket on the system. I am sharing my experience and hope to see if anyone also tried also.
Here are some tips to use the website.
Don't input anything wrong when creating an account (especially name and passport number), it could not be changed once the account was set up.
Not every passport got a document series, just type something inside (eg. P) if you don't know what to input.
Reports from traveler here say it would not be checked. Only name and passport number are needed.
All the class except first class, there are upper bed or lower bed, the lower bed is slightly expensive (Around 900-1000AMD difference).
You cannot directly choose lower or upper bed, when you search for the seat in the system, it will randomly come out a lower or upper bed. If you have preference, just search again until it returns a result suit you .
After that you finally got the electronic ticket, the most important thing is you got a ‘Code’, which is a reference number.
There is a print option, print out the electronic ticket (better in Russian and English both). And carry it when you board the train.
A confirmation email will be sent to the mailbox, find it from junk box if you can't see it.
