小紅蛺蝶是春夏兩季在歐洲很常見的蝴蝶品種，雖然常見，卻一點也不普通，牠們可是有紀錄以來遷徙路途最遙遠的一種昆蟲。今集，我們會嘗試揭開這位長征旅人的神秘面紗。

在歐洲蝙蝠的大家族中，納氏伏翼是少數能夠進行遠距離遷徙的的物種之一。牠們在夏季完結時由北歐出發，旅程長達2000公里，最終到達歐洲西部和南部過冬。在這遠征中，納氏伏翼會完成牠們的生物周期，同時為沿路的生態系統平衡出一分力。這種蝙蝠甚至是歐洲哺乳類動物中最長遷徙路線的記錄保持者呢！

Among the great family of European bats, Nathusius' pipistrelle is one the rare species capable of undertaking significant migrations.
This journey of up to 2,000 kilometers begins in Northern Europe towards the end of summer and finishes at wintering sites in the west and south of the Old Continent. During the long haul, Nathusius' pipistrelle completes a fascinating biological cycle, while contributing to maintaining the balance of the ecosystems that it crosses.
This bat even hold the record for longest migratory route among all terrestrial European mammals.
