你原本咩permit？
一般work permit要extend，要公司sponsor新LMIA (超難攞)
有例外嘅，就係要express entry full application同仲有4個月expire，就可以用bridging permit 繼續留底

我做insurance claims adjuster, 想係果度讀過有得考埋牌既course(不過要兩年，仲要讀返啲濕鳩business 科

),因為計過CRS 有埋一年canadian skilled experience 應該就夠分，加上我睇過Alberta 而家新出果個AINP,讀Macevan/Boe Valley 個insurance and risk management 再做野都有機申請到

所以惆悵緊去讀一年定兩年好，因為兩年可以拎3年PGWP,但用既錢多好多，又要讀埋啲on9 core

Would you mind telling us what kind of skills/ experience allow you to find a job in NL without citizenship/PR? Where do you get your bachelor’s degree? STEM field?

Some background about myself: I’m graduating this year with BEng degree (not CS) from a HK uni, have been seriously considering studying masters in Germany and learning German (a long way to go in reaching B2-C1

). It seems NL is a good place for tech guy to go too, found some great schools near Delft & Eindhoven. So comparing NL with Germany I’m not sure which is better

Some pros/cons I can think of:

🇩🇪
Good

:
-Basically Free tuition if you can reach german proficiency, a few english program also free/low cost
- More good tech Unis and programs
- Larger, multi-faceted economy (hence jobs, I guess)
- Lower living cost

Bad

:
- Your life will be very hard without conversational German (B2-C1)
- long neutralisation process to get PR/citizenship

🇳🇱
Good

:
- Dutch speed very good english, can live and find jobs more easily without speaking dutch
- Liberal people, good government (recent years, compared to german’s merkel govt.

)
- Shorter time to get PR/citizenship

Bad

:
- Paid tuition, much more expensive for non-EU students
- Smaller economy, inclined to a few sectors like semiconductors
- Relatively high cost of living

I’m planning to go next year, any suggestions and comments are highly appreciated. Thanks!

In your case, I’d say best option as follows:
1) get hired directly to nl as highly skilled immigrant, check openings on indeed.nl and monsterboard.nl, aim at graduate trainee. Chance might be slim to meet 30% ruling requirement though. Total 5 years
2) study in Germany and then look for jobs in nl afterwards, this way there’s a higher chance to get into highly skilled immigrants category and higher chance of meeting 30% ruling requirement due to better qualification. Be ware of the distance restriction for 30% ruling. Total around 7 years
3) study and get hired in Germany. Total 8 years

Beware of the fact that the integration exam in Germany is more difficult (C1) at the moment comparing to nl (A2). But the Dutch authorities are proposing to advance it to (B1 to B2)

Other supplementary info:
1) Right wing parties in nl are eager to reduce the duration of 30% ruling from 8 to 5 years
2) eligibility for naturalisation is likely to be lengthened to 7 years from 5 in the near future in nl

得一年PGWP 一定唔夠，因為要攞Canadian experience 分要準確一年，做小一日都唔得
但係由佢approve permit到你收到通知都唔只一日，頭尾咁啱星期六日又會無減d
考好d IELTS, 係香港做夠3年等加分好過
留意alberta同federal下年都有選舉

諗過係香港讀master 但呢行讀master 係冇用
