White man came across the sea
He brought us pain and misery
He killed our tribes, he killed our creed
He took our game for his own need
We fought him hard, we fought him well
Out on the plains we gave him hell
But many came too much for Cree
Oh will we ever be set free?
Riding through dust clouds and barren wastes
Galloping hard on the plains
Chasing the redskins back to their holes
Fighting them at their own game
Murder for freedom the stab in the back
Women and children are cowards attack
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Soldier blue in the barren wastes
Hunting and killing their game
Raping the women and wasting the men
The only good Injuns are tame
Selling them whiskey and taking their gold
Enslaving the young and destroying the old
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Run to the hills, run for your lives
Fight, we will fight right
Living low in a world of our own
Destined to live right
We're taking hell as our home
Burning lives burning
Asking me for the mercy of god
Ancient cries crying
Acting fast upon the way of the dog
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell (hell)
Kill, we will kill, death
Masturbating on the deeds we have done
Hell commands death kill
Argue not or feel the death of sun
Burning, lives burning
Asking me for the mercy of god
Ancient cries crying
Acting fast upon the way of the dog
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
The Lord's my shepherd, I shall not want
He maketh me in green pastures to lie
And leaves me beside the waters in peace
Leave your souls at his feet
Kiss the flames, scorn defeat
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
I will fear no evil, for thou art with me
Die, we won't die, live
Our choice of difference is what you'll never know
Mortal voids, live, die
Buried deep beneath the fall of the snow
Burning lives ending
Asking me for the mercy of god
Ancient cries crying
Acting fast upon the way of the dog
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell
Welcome to hell

The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner
This song is based on the short story by Alan Sillitoe about a boy in a Britting borstal (detention center) who is training for a long distance run in his schools name. The last verse is about the end of the story where he doesn't want to win the race becuase it would mean glory for the people who are opressing him, and instead he makes a choice to throw the race in front of his headmasters and everyone.
