your personal exemption are prorated based on the number of days since you entered Canada.
Any income earned before you entered Canada should be be Canada's concern. I have not done my own tax returns for almost 40 years now. Can you show me a screen shot of that page? (remove your personal information etc. of course)

好亂之前啲人又話唔理你喺加拿大幾多日都係claim全年full amount既federal tax credit $14398

你呢段又話係prorated

If you don't owe any tax, you can file any time even after Apr 30
