The boss is hopeful the defender can return to action sooner rather than later and continue to play an important role in our successes, with our head coach expressing how vital Andreas has been to our side.
‘Andreas has been crucial in the games he has played,’ said Thomas.
‘We missed him around the time we played Porto with a hamstring problem and now he has a small tendon problem.
He is crucial in the back three and can play all three positions there. He is very calm but is a tough one to play against. He uses his body well in individual duals and is good with his passing.
‘We were a bit relieved yesterday when the images were given and they what weren't we expected. We have realistic hopes the season isn't finish and that's very important.’
