Klopp always wants to meet the players [first], because he wants to see the character, and tell them his plan [at front]... He knows that once he’s [Werner] sitting there is really hard to say no. That’s why he wants it to be personally, so he can be sure he’ll come.

Klopp knows that in Germany we call him a ‘man catcher’ when he’s sitting there is hard to say no. His release clause is due on June 15th according to my information. So they still have a little bit of time left to do it, and that’s why they have time to meet up.
