Disappointed. He said the protests are winding down, like you guys are giving up or something. He said “progress has been made in HK”.

Progress has NOT been made in HK. People are being arrested for no reason whatsoever every day. The five demands have not been addressed.

That whole speech was disappointing.

I actually believe most politicians in US are against communists because of histories (Cold War, Vietnam and Korea) and total crash of ideals.

Since many ppl here tend to confuse socialists (left) in US with communism, would you please clarify to everyone that very very few politicians actually support communism in US (well, licking China's arse for money is another matter - which I think it's a bipartisan effort )

I agree that there are very (very) few actual communists, quite a few socialists, but plenty of arse lickers

Interesting to hear that because in Germany (at least in Berlin), the hardcore left are supporting CCP citing that we are the dogs of american imperialism haha

in tv news and papers i think u can see that there are more and more vandalism and also cases that some hkers with different political stands are being attacked on streets since mayb sept, and im not gonna deny it coz its the truth these things are happening. my question is do u or ur frds know why is that so? given that its very peaceful during the early period of the movement.
史提芬京 2019-10-14 13:16:39
I don't think we will see many friends in extreme left (or extreme right) for that matter.

So glad to hear it! But many worried about it could cause an escalation to a war, what do you think?

For what I have known, there are several key suspicions:

1)Chan was found entirely naked when the police claimed she committed suicide

2)right after Chan was missing and much earlier than the news came out, Chan’s friends approach her parents for Chan’s whereabouts. Her parents told her friends not to ask or investigate the case any more.

3) Chan’s last message to her friends was sent from MeiFoo, West Kowloon, saying that she’s going home. However, Chan’s body was found in YauTong, East Kowloon, and her personal belongings including her mobile phone and wallet were in her school in TseongKwanO, East Kowloon.

4) According to her friends and her own social media websites, Chan was actively participated in protests since June

These are all I knew by far, I might be wrong, feel free to correct me bros and sis

More detail about the 1st point:
Chan was a swimming athlete but the police claimed she ended her life by jumping into the sea

Also, her body was immediately burned after found, almost none investigation was done at all. A HK netizen questioned the police force why years ago, his own father died because of natural disease, the police insisted to dissect his body for study of cause of death but this time they rushed to burn Chan’s body.
