Celtic star Callum McGregor is ready to leave his current side to reunite with Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City, according to Football Insider.
The report suggests that the 26-year-old is keen on a move to the King Power Stadium, with the Foxes ready to start the bidding for the Scot at £15 million.
Leicester boss Rodgers is keen on bringing McGregor to the club ahead of the new season, however, after spending big money on Youri Tielemans and Ayoze Perez, a potential move could be dependent on Harry Maguire’s possible move to Manchester United.
McGregor flourished under the Northern Irishman during a three-year relationship at Celtic Park, becoming one of the best performers in the Scottish Premiership.
The versatile midfielder has turned out 224 times for his boyhood club since turning professional in 2013, and McGregor may not be adding many more appearances to that tally if Leicester firm up their interest in the coming weeks.
