I was looking for a letter and got sidetracked browsing this forum. Yesterday I assigned six hours for practicing their songs on my cor anglais, clarinet, E-flat clarinet and bass clarinet. If you want the music to be more rhythmic you can add sleigh bells (jingle bells), tambourine, castanets, triangle, cymbals (hi-hat, clash, ride.etc.) and gongs. I remember seeing them live at Saitama Super Arena which was marvelous. They've been strutting their stuff since they were kids so don't sell them short. At the end of the last encore they bowed onstage soaking up the applause. They were given a thunderous standing ovation. On top of being an incredible musician, the lead singer is also an avid runner. She took part in a three thousand metre race where she came first. She rose to the challenge of passing the runners who were ahead of her, ran for all she was worth and dived over the finish line. Loads of fans congratulated her for having won the race as she held the trophy up. The race was the opportunity for all the worlds best runners to strut their stuff. It was truly memorable. I remember dining at a nearby ramen restaurant after the concert. The table was sticky maybe because the staff forgot to wipe it up so I asked them to wipe it up. Later I spilled a bowl of miso soul all over the table and the floor so I ended up wiping the spiky soup up. I had a friendly chat with a lady who was sitting at a nearby table who told mr in centuries past a whole village was wiped out by a catastrophic earthquake. Fascinating. When I finished my meal I wiped my mouth on my sleeve lol and a piece of tissue. There's an elegant cafe of which the interior and the exterior are artistically and exquisitely designed. The other week my friend spilt his cappuccino all over his work as well as down his tie on his shirt so he had to wipe up this mess. I enjoy drinking coffee and chatting with the baristas there so much that I sometimes make it worth their while.
