SpiceJet, an Indian low-cost airline, launches Hong Kong's first low-cost flight to Delhi on 23 November 2018 using B737-800 aircraft. It fills the empty slot left by Air Belgium that suspended flights to Hong Kong from 2 October 2018.

On 22 November 2018, SpiceJet flight SG31 departs from Delhi for Hong Kong at 10.45 pm, arrives in Hong Kong on 23 November 2018 at 6.40 am before leaving Hong Kong for Delhi at 7.40 am and touching down in Delhi at 10.50 am local time under SG32.

The Delhi-Hong Kong route of SpiceJet is the Indian carrier's third new route in November 2018 following the Amritsar - Suvarnabhumi and Amritsar - Goa routes that are due to commence scheduled services on 6 November 2018.

SpiceJet flies to Hong Kong daily from 22 November 2018.
